Jack Hinds, MSFS, ChFC, CLU
Chief Compliance Officer
For more than 40 years, Jack has delighted in using his sharp skills in research and analysis to develop strategies that help people achieve financial health and well being so their future needs are met. As our senior investment analyst and chief compliance officer, he works with Lighthouse advisors and clients on business and estate planning, advanced investment and insurance strategies. He also writes a popular, quarterly market update for our clients.
Jack’s personal experience as a successful business owner brings a wealth of knowledge in business management and finance to our clients. Before landing here at Lighthouse Financial, Jack was president and chief executive officer of Hinds Financial Group, serving from 1973 to 2000, when Hinds Financial merged with three other firms to form the Centurion Group with more than $1.2 billion in assets. Two years later, General Electric bought Centurion, and Jack happily retired — or so he thought. He joined Lighthouse in 2006 with a new focus on financial fitness.
Jack served our country in Vietnam as a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1968 and 1969. He went on to earn a master’s degree in financial services from American College and to complete advanced studies in business planning and retirement planning as part of his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations.
Jack has served on the boards various community and nonprofit organizations and is a former member of the board of directors of the Executive Life Insurance Co. When he’s not working, Jack likes to spend time in the great outdoors.
Lynn Hinds, CRC
Lynn is Lighthouse’s founder, and she serves clients all over the world with retirement-income planning, estate planning and investment management. She is also the creator of The Lighthouse Financial Pathway Program, a disciplined process of planning and investment that provides a sound framework for making wise decisions in wealth management.
Lynn, a certified retirement counselor, started her career in financial services in 1986, determined to help people be financially healthy and find meaningful and rewarding ways to use their resources for the benefit of others. She is also a popular public speaker and teacher with local and national audiences, and she has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations and industry groups, including the Financial Planning Association of Colorado. Lynn is also a charter member of Kingdom Advisors.
A graduate of the University of Texas, Lynn is committed to making her own positive contributions to the world. She enjoys volunteer service and is an active member of her church.
Chief Operating Officer
Mike handles not only Lighthouse’s finances but also its project management, strategic planning, policy development and human resources. He has worked for more than a decade in the financial services industry and also has more than 20 years of management experience in the private and public sectors. Mike has been directly responsible for the management of organizations ranging from a few employees to several hundred.
Throughout his career, Mike has consistently found time for community service. He has served as a volunteer or board member of several local and statewide nonprofit organizations in Texas and Colorado, including Kingdom Way Ministries, where he enjoys coming alongside other Christian business leaders to help them integrate their faith with excellent business practices.
Lisa A. Malick, CFP®
Lisa leads our financial planning department, where she has developed and written comprehensive financial plans for Lighthouse clients since 2009. She received her Certified Financial Planner credential from Boston University.
Before diving into the world of professional financial services, Lisa worked to protect the world’s oceans as a researcher and technical analyst in marine optics. She has a master’s degree in marine science from the University of South Florida and also graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the State University of New York in Geneseo.
She brings exceptional dedication, attention to detail, analytical expertise and personalized client service to her work for Lighthouse — and still manages to make time for professional and community organizations. Lisa is a member of the Financial Planning Association and an active member of her church.
Ramona’s is the friendly voice you hear on the phone and the first friendly face you see when you visit our corporate office — which, frankly wouldn’t run as smoothly without her. She works hard to find convenient times for Lighthouse clients to meet their financial advisors for quarterly reviews, coordinates our executives’ busy schedules and helps lead Lighthouse’s community outreach and event planning. Before joining Lighthouse in 2007, Ramona worked in various capacities as an executive assistant, raised a family and studied business administration at the University of Maryland.
Assistant Client Service Administrator
Christy combines her love of people with financial expertise to bring personal and professional service to Lighthouse clients. She joined the Lighthouse Operations Team in 2014 with more than 20 years in the financial services industry that includes extensive experience with compliance. So, Christy understands the importance of “getting it right” for clients. She holds a Series 7 securities license and a degree in Finance from Metropolitan State College of Denver. When she’s away from the office, Christy enjoys spending time with her son, Aaron, and their dog, Tori.
