Here at Lighthouse, we don’t just work to build a financial-management firm. We also work to build a community of people who appreciate the joy that often comes from wise financial stewardship and from sharing our resources with others.
One way we build the community that has made our firm unique is through volunteer service. Our efforts — coordinated by our staff and always open to our clients – have accomplished great things for people who face big challenges. These special events also have allowed us to make new friendships and learn from each other.
Please take a look at the organizations we regularly support. If you’re interested in knowing more about volunteer opportunities, please contact us, and we’ll alert you as they come up. We also post opportunities on our calendar, so check there for details, too.
We often count on our clients for bright ideas about new community service projects – and we welcome hearing from you about those. We also invite you to send us information about the charities and causes you care about so we might share them with other members of the Lighthouse Community.
Your work with us is a part of that and one of service projects we’ve repeatedly participated in is at Samaritan’s Purse in Denver. Let us know if you’d like to be a part of our volunteer group returning this year to help with Operation Christmas Child. Last year, 13 of us helped at the processing center, sorting and packing up gifts. Samaritan’s Purse has also helped Colorado families recover from last Fall’s flooding and is key in helping meet the needs of people who are victims o war, poverty, natural disasters, disease and famine. Helping promote our mission of caring and sharing, it’s a privilege to be able to assist this amazing organization.
